If You Know Your Death is Coming

Will you be happy?
Sad?
Scared?
Will you have anything to regret?

Will you be sad that you won't see your children get marriage?
Or that you won't see your grand child?
Or that you won't see your children graduate college?
Or that you won't see your children be "someone"?

Don't be

Because it's your destiny from Allah.
Those are time bounded events
And time, is the only thing you just don't have.

But if you're sad because you haven't been a good parent, a good spouse, a good child
Because you haven't gave enough for Allah
Because you haven't do tahajjud often
Because you haven't been friends with Al Qur'an
Because you haven't put on your hijab yet

Then you should be

But it's not over yet
You can still do your best from now on
Although the clock is ticking
Although your body and mind is weakening
As long as you have your breath
You can still be better, be better for Allah

Never give up
The end doesn't matter
What's important is that you’ve done your best


And if you feel your death is still faraway

Beware

You might wish that you knew it was coming
So you can prepare yourself
